A Nation Divided, a Call for Change
We are at a point in our history where our traditional political parties are in turmoil. The country remains divided in their loyalties and dissatisfaction in our leadership has not been this high since the winter of discontent under Jim Callaghan in 1979.
The chaos has spawned a number of new parties, foremost being Reform. The reason is a growing sense that the mainstream parties have strayed from values that a large proportion of our population consider correct, normal, natural and mainstream. Indeed, the feeling more and more is that our politicians are driven by more self-serving interests or interests of other outside nations and peoples, and peculiar ideologies. The result is that the prime responsibility of government, to protect its own people, is being ignored.
SMEs: The Heart of a Strong Economy
The success and happiness, opportunities and health of our nation is founded on a strong economy, and it is the SME sector that is fundamental to this. But it is our sector that has, for too long, been the great money tree that it seems too many modern politicians believe is an endless resource for them to take from, without addressing the root causes of our economic failure, mainly an out of control public sector, mass uncontrolled immigration and a failure to reform our health and welfare systems.
We need the SME sector to have a voice in the running of our country. This will come from our policy ideas being based on values. We do not refer to left or right, we believe that a government formed from good people with a desire to make our country great again. Leaders who also understand that only when we are strong, are we able to help other nations.
Our voice is for SME’s and we intend to support individual candidates not parties. We welcome input from people who are working hard to make our economy work, whichever party they support.
As we read the polls today, there is one clear leader in the race to govern. However, this may not always be the case, and it is the role of the 1832 club to ensure that, whoever is responsible for managing our hard earned taxes, remains accountable to deliver on our values for the nation.
A Unified Voice for Britain’s Future
The 1832 Club isn’t about left or right—it’s about good people making Britain great again.
We welcome input from all who fuel our economy, regardless of party loyalty. Whoever leads, we’ll hold them accountable to deliver on values that put Britain and its people first.

Yes you can raise tax we the business need to benefit for it too not just job less or the big companies who are always given tenders and small business always struggle to hire those jobless people, who needs to be working bringing less burden on public service and more investment.
