Mark Littlewood, director of Popular Conservatism a right-libertarian organisation associated with the Conservative Party that opposes the left-wing establishment consensus, saying: “a majority in the House of Commons is no longer enough to turn us away from the path of Blairite declinism. The institutions of Britain – from the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) to the Supreme Court to the Climate Change Committee – now stand in the way of meaningful reform”. Dr David Starkey, is a British historian, author, and broadcaster known for his expertise on the Tudor period and the British monarchy, as well as his often controversial and opinionated commentary. He is a regular commentator on historical issues and appeared frequently on programs like BBC Radio 4’s The Moral Maze and Channel 4’s Question Time. He describes his political views as conservative and is a supporter of the British Conservative Party.
